  • Weekly Prayer – Sunday, August 9 — Challengers Room — 7pm
  • Visitation Outreach – Monday, August 10 – 1pm – The Ladies’ Ministry would like to invite men and women to join in this outreach opportunity as they visit around 10 individuals
  • No SAIL (Stay Active & Independent for Life) — until September 8
  • Choir Practice & Christmas Choir Practice – Wednesday, August 12- 6pm
  • No Feed the Flock, Calvary Kid’s Club, Youth, Bible Study — summer break
  • August Food Pantry Collection — spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles – drop off items in the wooden bin in the foyer
  • Operation Christmas Child Collection — pick up a card in the foyer with a list of items to fill shoeboxes — Calvary’s Packing Party Goal: 900 shoeboxes – some items are now on sale – we still need: 120 boxes of colored pencils, 101 boxes of crayons, 47 single subject spiral notebooks – drop off in the tubs in the foyer
  • Christmas in July: Operation Christmas Child shipping — Goal: $9,000 – To date: $7194.84
  • Couples Retreat – Saturday, August 15 – 3 PM to 8:30 PM – $40 a couple – sign up by the QR code above or on the link on the weekly
  • Senior Servants of Calvary Picnic – Saturday, August 22 – at Gypsy Hill Park – 5 PM – chicken provided – bring a covered dish & lawnchair – bring your own cooler of drinks – sign up in the foyer
  • Communion – next Sunday, August 16
  • Men’s Ministry Breakfast – Sunday, August 23 – 7am – Hometown Grill in Staunton – Cost: $12 for buffet – planning for future events and activities
